Alarm Friends ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Alarm Friends mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.

User-Generated Content

When you create and share an alarm, we collect:

• Audio recordings created by users (voice alarms), which are user-generated content and are used solely to enable the core functionality of the App
• Photos selected for alarm personalization
• Optional text entered as part of the alarm

This content is uploaded to our servers only to provide alarm sharing functionality.

App Activity Information

We collect information about how you interact with the App, including:

• Screen views
• Feature usage
• Alarm creation and activation events

This information is used to improve app functionality, reliability, and user experience.

Device Information and Identifiers

We may collect:

• App instance identifiers (such as user or session IDs)
• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version

These identifiers may be associated with a user account or app instance and may be used to distinguish users for functionality and analytics purposes.

Crash and Performance Data

If the App encounters errors or performance issues, we may collect:

We use collected data solely for app functionality and internal analytics purposes.

• User-generated media is stored temporarily on secure cloud servers
• Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

4. Data Retention

User-generated content, including audio recordings and photos, is stored temporarily to provide sharing functionality.

Such content is automatically deleted from our servers within 7 days of upload.

Analytics data and crash reports may be retained longer as necessary to maintain app performance, security, and reliability.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the App, including:

• Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure media storage

These service providers process data solely on our behalf and do not use the data for their own independent purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will promptly delete it.

• You may choose whether to upload photos when creating alarms
• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it
